Laser Breast Lift

Fotona laser breast-lifting procedures require no post-op care. However, some patients may experience dry skin that feels tight. These symptoms are totally normal after laser breast-lifting treatments and can be expected from the thermal energy produced within the dermal structures of the treated areas. Patients may consistently moisturize their breasts to avoid any dryness that they may experience in their breasts.
Fotona laser treatments are completely non-invasive, with no downtime

Laser breast lifting with Fotona SP Dynamis is effective in safely reducing sagginess in the breast and the surrounding tissue. Laser breast lifting involves a two-step process that induces the superficial tightening and deep tightening of the breast tissue. Fotona laser breast-lifting technology involves the use of Nd:YAG and erbium YAG to non-invasively lift and tighten the skin around the breast tissue.
Laser breast lifting works by emitting laser light into the breast tissue to induce thermal heating. The erbium YAG (Er:YAG) laser is used in the first step to gently tighten the skin, while in the second step the Nd:YAG laser thermally induces the heating of deep tissue in the area of the treatment.
Nd:YAG is a non-ablative laser that is used for a variety of medical and cosmetic purposes. Erbium YAG is a highly efficient ablative laser that was approved in 1997 by Health Canada and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for surface vaporization treatment similar to that of CO2 technology. Erbium is less invasive than CO2 and provides a shorter downtime associated to treatments, while producing comparable results.

Laser breast lifting treatments can cause some mild discomfort in some patients during their treatment sessions. Most patients report that the pain dissolves immediately after the treatment has been completed. Fotona laser breast-lifting procedures are non-invasive and are generally well tolerated.
Laser breast lifting does not cause any burning or adverse side effects to the breasts. It is safe and incurs lower risk of skin damage, scarring, infections, and other complications that may arise from surgical procedures.
A discussion with your practitioner is your best option to reduce any discomfort associated with a laser breast-lift. Some of the pain remedies include anaesthetic cream applied 40 minutes prior to treatments. Tylenol or Advil pain medication can also assist patients in receiving a comfortable laser treatment experience. Your laser operator can best determine pain remedies. Patients may experience some subsequent heat lingering within the skin of the treated breast area. All symptoms associated with Fotona laser breast lifting should subside within a few hours of treatments.
