Non Surgical Rhinoplasty
-
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a recent breakthrough in cosmetic medicine created through the innovative work of experienced cosmetic surgeons. Until recently, nose enhancement was only performed using surgical methods— making an incision to the tissue that connects the nostrils and using the space created to surgically alter the shape of the nose. The downside of surgical rhinoplasty is a greater chance of visible scarring, the potential for more complications during recovery, and more trauma to the delicate tissues of the nose.
Non-surgical rhinoplasty by contrast is the use of a dense injectable fillers to enhance and improve the nose’s shape.
Like surgical rhinoplasty, non-surgical rhinoplasty can:
Improve your nose’s shape and size for facial harmony
Enhance the position, size, and shape of the nasal tip
Correct nasal asymmetry
Sculpt the profile of the nasal bridge
Smooth out nasal bumps or irregularities
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is non-invasive, there’s no cutting, no visible scarring, and there’s very little to no pain, nor downtime for recovery. Non-surgical rhinoplasty helps to correct minor problems in the shape, size, or proportion of the nose that are causing significant issues in terms of a patient’s overall facial appearance.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is not permanent like surgical rhinoplasty. The results that can be achieved with injectable dermal fillers can look more natural in appearance than the results of more invasive procedures. Injectables are also delivered with a fine syringe instead of a surgical scalpel, so they can be used more precisely and with more versatility to achieve a finer, more exact result.
Patients can remain awake during the procedure. It’s easy and convenient to have performed with a minimal disruption to your life. There’s no downtime, unlike recovery from surgery, which can last months and risks complications.
-
There is not an exact answer to this question because the duration of the results will depend on different factors such as: the type and amount of dermal filler used, the individual patient’s body and its unique rate of metabolizing the injectables, and what part of the nose is treated. In general, a non-surgical rhinoplasty will last for one year, but will require a touch-up between 9 months and one year after the procedure.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty injections are a very minimally invasive and minor operation with little pain involved. Very tiny needles are used to inject the filler so many patients report feeling only minor pricks to their skin.
-
Your nose may appear puffy or slightly swollen for a few days after the non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure. The recovery period and downtime however, are minimal. People who undergo dermal filler injections for non-surgical rhinoplasty can go back to their normal daily routine very soon after treatment.
You might experience a little mild stinging or throbbing in the injected areas, but this is normal and only temporary. To help ensure a quick recovery, be sure to follow your clinician’s post-op care instructions.
